AEF sponsors programs at Harvard Univerity, Stanford University and the University of Pennsylvania to sponsor graduate and undergraduate students interested in political journalism and fiscal policy to write and publish research on the many fiscal issues that now face our states. The “States Project” – launched in 2011 — will produce Annual Reports for over six U.S. states, including Massachusetts, California, New York and Texas. In addition to their research duties,  students also craft political commentary, blog entries, and other online stories.
